Be interested to see people's opinion on who Roy "Woy" Hodgeson should take in his 23 man squad for the World Cup. You have to take 3 goal keepers and 2 players in each position, choose you own formation as I'm sure people will have different opinions for how we should approach the competition. GK: Hart, Forster, Ruddy RB: Johnson, Walker CB: Jagielka, Smalling CB: Cahill, Lescott LB: Cole, Baines CM: Carrick, Wilshere CM: Gerrard, Jones RW: Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain CAM: Lampard, Barkley LW: Milner, Sturridge CF: Rooney, Welbeck If all of these players are fit I think that squad pretty much picks itself. A lot of those players can play multiple positions and there's a mix of youth and experience. For example I've not selected an out and out LW but you could play Milner, Sturridge, Ox, Wilshere and I'm sure Welbeck could do a job out there or even Baines infont of Cole if we need to play a little defensively. Obviously it's a big if, all of those players being fit and I may have missed a few who you think could do a better job anyway...
Ill swap ruddy for green. I think Michael Dawson deserves a chance over lescott. But he seems to have been forgotten. Ill go Townsend over the ox and lambert or caroll depending on form and fitness over welbeck.

I would pick the following 23 (barring injuries): Hart, Foster and Forster. Jagielka, Cahill, Johnson, Baines, Cole, Jones, Stones, Clyne. Gerrard, Lallana, Sterling, Milner, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Barkley, Carrick. Rooney, Sturridge, Welbeck and Lambert. However, I think Stones, Clyne and Carrick will miss out and we will get Smalling, Walker and Wilshere.
