I'm sick to death of England 'fans' complaining about everything to do with our National football side.

It's all simply because of our poor showing at the World Cup. Nobody bothers to see how well the team is doing apart from that or even bother to check the results we've been getting.

We are ranked as one of the top sides in the world... http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/ranking/lastranking/gender=m/fullranking.html ...we are going to qualify with ease for the European Championship and we are playing decent football too.

The fact Capello made massive mistakes in the World Cup makes no excuse for the racist bollocks that i've read on here from certain people - grow up.

The manager is Italian and we have some unsavoury characters in the dressing room - so what? <grr>... If the results are good recently, which they are, then what is your problem?

I genuinely dont feel anything towards England anymore, watched them win 3-0 the other day and it didnt raise a smile from me. Dont know if it's because of how mismanaged they are or whatever but I just dont care anymore.

Referencing the FIFA rankings doesnt help your argument though, they barely make sense.

Yes let's celebrate the national team who have failed to win anything since 1966, golden generation? only in their bank accounts.

My England team that would work imo:

    Hart

    Richards - Cahill - Terry - Cole

    Parker - Wilshere

    Downing - Rooney - Young

    Bent

Then there youth like Walcott, Jones, Welbeck, Sturridge, Cleverley aswell as experience like Ferdinand, Gerrard, Lampard. Honestly think we could win the Euros. We have quality - just need right manager. Harry Redknapp with Beckham in the background somewhere would be brilliant imo

I've honestly not been passionate about an England game since about 2000. I couldn't care about unsavoury characters or whether we had a martian in charge, I just find watching England dull.

I admit that I don't make much effort to watch but always see highlights and always take an interest, I am not interested enough to slate them anymore though.

I love this "failed to win anything" argument. How many different nations actually have?

I'll watch them 'cause I like football and it is always nice to see England win I suppose. But it doesn't excite me nor does it annoy me. On the fence! Not bothered. Club football, every day.

    I honestly couldn't give a **** about Engaland.

But, if we bring in an English manager who is really passionate and can get the players going, I would start to care.

IMO the future does look fairly bright for England.

I hate Redknapp, he'd probably try and tap up Messi to sign for England!

Haha. My second choice would be Pearce but after seeing the u21s in the summer, we won't progress any further with him in charge lol. Can't think of another good English manager

Germany, Brazil, Italy, France, Argentina, Spain, Uruguay, Holland, Greece, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Russia. all these nations have had teams that have won the world cup and in the case of Spain, Germany, Italy and France have also won the European Championships, the fact that the richest league in the world with some of the highest paid players has failed to produce a national team seemingly capable of emmulating the efforts of 1966 is perhaps the reason why some people can't be bothered anymore, false dawns and broken promises, I personally will prefer to watch womens beach volley ball, a far more interesting sight than the mini me shrek that is Mr Rooney.

The fifa rankings? Spain won the world cup and the Netherlands are at the top of the list?! Why? They beat a nation with players who only play the game part time 11-0. Get out of here with that bollocks.

Personally I've never felt passionately for England. They're my nation so naturally I like to see them win. But don't give a **** if they lose either. We have a foreign manager who doesn't like to travel up and down the nation on insane wagers for what is..a part time job really. I'd LOVE the England job. Because most of the times you play friendlies and do nothing. Then you get sacked and manager FC Twente..<whistle>

I am rather fond of Wales, the underdog and all that! And Northern Ireland aswell. <ok>
