There is some real, genuine quality in there, in all areas of the pitch. Things might finally be looking up for England.
I saw Tottenham were unhappy about Kane going because he'd only have 18 days rest between their post season tour of Malaysia or somewhere and the tournament. Ridiculous that they felt that tour was more important than an U21s tournament.
Harry Kane has been warned by Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino that he could miss the start of next season if he plays for England in the European Under-21 Championship. Pochettino has also reiterated that striker Kane will be part of his squad for Tottenham’s post-season games against a Malaysia XI on May 27 and Sydney FC on May 30. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ntry-says-head-coach-Mauricio-Pochettino.html ****er.
I'd put my house on an injury popping up the week before Premier league ****s Do any of these managers make a fuss when players go off the play for other countries I don't remember Anything being said when Juan Mata played for Spain u21s It's just the England set up that gets held to ransom
Ince doesn't make his own decisions though does he. His bottler of a father does He might be allowed to make his own choices one day
Genuinely struggling to pick a starting XI from that lot, good problem to have mind. Is the tournament going to be on tv?
Butland Jenkinson Stones Chambers Targett Luftus-Cheek Ward-Prowse Redmond Berahino Bamford Kane There is genuine strength in depth which is pleasing to see.
When the U21 team looks better than your senior team, you know there's a problem. Especially when you've got the 'next Gareth Bale' in the squad. I'd go for: Butland Jenkinson Stones Chambers Dier Ward-Prowse Chalobah Bamford Berahino Redmond Kane
MLS managers complain about it constantly, although they have more of a reason to as their are no international breaks in the MLS and top players miss around 8 regular season games a season while they are on national team duty.
If you're going with a 4-2-3-1, then picking two double-barrelled lads as the holding midfield 2 makes a lot of sense. They cover most of the width of the pitch between them with those names.
He might be a bellend but he undoubtedly has ability. No Sterling? Is that because he's a fully fledged England international? Also Townsend if he's eligible (not sure how old he is). And whatever happened to John Flanagan? Everyone was raving about him last season, I don't think I've even heard his name mentioned since he was touted for a place in the world cup squad.
