    <cheers>

An unimpressive 2-1 win over the Kebab Mongers today, which just highlighted IMO that England's woeful defence will see them go out just as soon as they meet a decent team. With John Terry omitted to spend his summer on his favourite activities - cheating on his missus and helping his Dad serve up (allegedly), we do look vulnerable in central defence. Stones and Cahill have been poor for their Clubs this season, and if Chris Smalling really is the returning saviour, Gawd help us.

In midfield, is it me or are both Jack Wilshire and Raheem Sterling figments of their Agent's hyperbole? Both are very, very overrated players. Striking options look good with Vardy and Kane in form, but overall I would rate England's chances of winning as being thinner than Wayne Rooney's syrup.

    Thoughts?

I love Wrighty commentating on England...!!

Loads of passion and not just some boring c**t stating the obvious.

I've played and watched enough football over the years to know what I'm watching. I don't need some condescending f**k telling my what's going on.

After watching the final yesterday I can't believe Woy doesn't see it as a risk having only 3 CB's with Smalling as one of them. What an idiot. And the turning point was when he got his inevitable red card.

Agreed. That central defence will part like Katrien's chop sticks when we meet a decent side.

Perm any 2 from 3 Cahill, Stones & Smalling and you still get a hiding.

When a CB is already on a yellow and then rugby tackles a player you have to question his intelligence.... then he tries to pretend he didn't grab the attacker...<doh>

    Best case scenario for England...:

Jose to Manure. He takes Stones with him and teaches the f****r when to play and when not to play, and bestows upon him the art of defending.

Smalling, Stones, Shaw... 3 of our back 4 for England for the next 8 years

I'm probably not going to watch it. I kinda hate all football at the moment #RolandsFault

So I've been trying to think, what else I might do during the June/July period and climbing a mountain is the best idea that I've got, so went out brought some hiking boots. I'm also leaning towards cycling, so if anyone knows any decent road bikes let me know.

Been there @AllHellLetLoose, round the corner from my work. I might actually do that, but I did promise myself that I'll try and be more outdoorsy.

Turns out log cabins/chalet with hot tubs and on site spa facilities does not constitute as being "outdoors."

Smalling must have done his England place a world of good in the cup final on saturday. He was continually roasted by a Palace team who really had no intention of attacking, but were obliged to as Smalling kept offering them such a huge amount of space to run into, and then to cap it all, got himself sent off.
Now what will teams of Germans, Spaniards or Italians do to a lumbering thing like that in the England defence. Simon Church will be putting a few quid on himself to score.

Eurovision Song Contest is not important to anyone. In fact if there's ever an example of how Europe thinks of Great Britain, just look at that.

    Always last!
