I thought that! Was a bit strange when John Terry bulldozed through the Brazil defence with the football in his hands screaming "Touch down!". Made it even more strange when he pulled his shorts down and waved his cock about at the wife section of the crowd.

Look who's been managing them. Then decide based on the utter crap we suffered at this hands...

Of course he cares. Rosie has bills to pay, doesn't she? That dog food doesn't buy itself. Think he was hoping that the FA might have chipped in on it.

Or perhaps he's leading the campaign to get Woy weplaced by another older, English manager???

Perhaps Harry was disappointed not to get the England job. After all, he was the leading contender.<laugh>

As much as I don't rate Harry as a club manager, I think he's the best English manager for the job and he should have got it.

I wanted to use those trolley cages that are in the supermarket to leave the kids while I was shopping but nooooooooo that's child abuse to some. Bloody things are perfect for it.

  12. I don't really care TBH. I've not had the passion for the England team since the World Cup in 2002 (being in the pub at 10am helped mind <whistle>) but nothing gets close to Euro 96 <ok>

I think he would be a great shout for the job. Redknapp and Hoddle vs Roy Hodgson and Stuart Peace - you're having a laugh!!

  17. Glen should never have been sacked IMO. But then, I don't think Venables should have left his position either. Keegan was a disaster (like his approach but international football is all about tactics etc since you can't just buy the best players) and I was never really behind foreign managers in charge of the England team. The less said about the last two English guys the better <doh>

bet you any money(not that i gamble) that a Scottish manager could get more out of England than any English coach could ever do.

trouble is you are not going to find anyone Scottish stupid enough to do this.

We always have managers who focus on negative football. Hodgson, Capello, Mclaren all recent. Capello I could understand, with his record in club level. But why can't we just employ some one who atleast sets there team up to play a good brand of football. Yeah maybe at international level you need structure, but what good has it done us over the last decade? 10 years ago we had a fantastic team, but again, we never played to our strengths we were just always focused on formations and structures. We haven't since 96 had any sort of flair and creativity.

We've had players like Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham etc. but never have we once played to their strengths, we had Gerrard on the left at one stage for crying out loud.

And now the U21 has the same structure being implemented by Stuart Pearce. Then once his team got found out, piled all the blame on to the players in a cowardly fashion. I mean, the tournament is there for experience! Yet he decides to absolutely tear apart the whole team in public, even questioning the quality off the side. The whole England set-up is abysmal at this point, something needs to drastically change.
