It was an amazing innings, it’s still going to be tough to win the ashes though. The momentum should be with us now so fingers crossed , but on the whole we’ve been poor. We seem to be better at the shorter forms of the game the the longer.

im a somerset cricket fan.. used to like the Sunday limited overs when VIV JOEL AND IAN were playing! so far not seen 1 report giving credit to Jack L has he not played with absolute discipline and took his run who knows what may have happened...… probably lost by 70 runs and rest of series would be dead ………………..
You are reading the wrong reports then, there has been plenty of credit giving to Jack but quite rightly Stokes is getting the lion share
Ben Stokes innings had everything - battled hard at the beginning when under the cosh Accelerated with Bairstow Then when batting with the tail - simply outstanding The way he manipulated the strike to protect Jack Leach was outstanding At the end Australia had lost their heads, but Stokes kept his Loved the way Jack kept cleaning his spectacles - that must have wound them up
