In the early 80's Saints fieldied a team with no fewer than 6 former current and futures England Captains. Can you name them? I think it was 1981/82 season

I know there was Shilton, Ball and Keegan - still thinking of the others...

Shearer was another but he played early 90s so not him

Channon captained England but I don't know if he was in that side. Mark Wright surely?

Shilton and Keegan never played in the same team. Shilton joined us the summer that Keegan went to Newcastle. This quiz has been around for years and has always been inaccurate in that regard.

You have got them all between you. Mick Mills joined the following season so if Keegan had not left there would've been seven

I thought that as well but a lot of fans told me they did when i did the question before. Anyhow gives the old brain a bit of a workout.

I was going to say C. B. Fry but he never captained England, just played for them at both football and cricket while playing for Saints.

Not sure but I think you will find Don Roper captained England Although it might have been a friendly.
