Lee Brown and Tom Parkes have been picked for the England C squad for the ICT clash with Estonia. England C manager Paul Fairclough has announced a larger-than-normal squad in preparation for the forthcoming International Challenge Trophy Group A fixture with Estonia U23s. Fairclough has selected a 29-man group for the game, which will be played at the Shay Stadium in Halifax later this month. The increase in the size of the squad is due to the possibility of FA Cup First Round Proper replays, which are scheduled for the same week as the game. Estonia have also selection issues to concern themselves with, as five of their initial squad are on stand-by to join the full squad ahead of their Euro Qualifiers over the international week. Estonia are of course in the same group as England in the race to France 2016 The squad will be trimmed to 16 after the weekend FA Cup ties with the initial 29-man squad available Full squad here http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/documents/squad-list-v1235-2065073.pdf
Just an update.... Both Brown & Parkes played the full 90 minutes last night for England C vs Estonia U23's. England won 4-2. Good result considering the Estonia players will be the main team for Estonia for years to come & some have many caps for the main squad already. So the best of our non league sides winning this game is a good result. Here is the players getting their caps.... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image This is a tweet from the supporters club....... "This is what you call support.
