England call ups again

England C manager, Paul Fairclough, has selected 2 Rovers players in his next squad and also named another Rovers player in his back up list.

Defenders Lee Brown and Tom Parkes makes the 16 man squad. Matty Taylor makes the back up list and may get a call up if there are any players who pull out of the 16 man squad.

England C will face Cyprus under 21's away in Larnaca on Tuesday 17th Feb. This means they will not miss any Rovers games as a result. They will join up with the rest of the England squad after Grimsby vs Rovers on Saturday 14th. They will return in time for Rovers vs Altrincham on Saturday 21st Feb.

Hope they don't get injured. Seems a bit of a pointless distraction at this stage o the season.

 

could they say they are injured with a bad back so pulls out of the squad but then play for us anyway?
