Isn't our match tomorrow in the "less restrained" Ukraine?

    What's different?

The poles probably don't care about the Spanish tonight, whereas Ukraine took our trumpet!

First England game was in the Ukraine who are strict about what's allowed in the ground. Don't know where the second game is but Poland are apparently fine with instruments in the ground.

Don't like the instruments though. Atmosphere comes from the crowd not instruments. People say that the instruments have been part of England games for 18 years. But that's not a very long time really.

We're going to be out numbered 3-1 tomorrow night so a bit of extra noise won't go a miss ?

Personally I can't stand the 'band'. They only know three tunes and seem to kill off any atmosphere the crowd is generating themselves.

My first though for the France game was 'no band, thank ****'

Ban that band for good. They are effin dreadful. And all anyone wants to do in the crowd is the even effin worse Mexican Wave. Spend all that money to get there and end up doing the football version of Simon Says. Fcukin sad.

That's why the mexican wave is saved for friendlies

The band only ever seem to play when something dull is going on and the crowd is a bit flat it's a bit like the crowd hate it but they don't want the band to stop otherwise they will feel bad for them.

Precisely why drowning out the fans we do have with a brass band playing The Great Escape and 'Come on England' for 90 minutes is a bad idea. They ruin the atmosphere on their sponsor-funded jolly.

I effing hate the band - the English version of vuvuzelas- fun once, but effing annoying after two games, and we've listened to the same dross for eighteen years

I'd of thought if anyone were going to support England the music would be great to take the mind off the dreadful football on offer

The band are there tonight. So far all they've managed to achieve is drowning out our own supporters and stirring up the already vociferous Ukrainian crowd
