Not bad for Bale, one season in Spain and he's in the Champions League final. Did he play well, I didn't see the game? Here's hoping its a Madrid derby. The ****ing fuss about Mourinho v Real, in addition to Chelsea getting through will be unbearable, he'll be acting the hard done by victim for weeks.
Bale did ok. He get one good chance when Neuer played himself out but Bale blew that one. He did assist Ronaldos first (0-3) beautifully. Bayern was helpless and Chelscum or Atletico going have nightmare final against Real.
Gald Real made it. Id love to see a Madrid Derby as the final. Dont care what country Chelsea are from, they can get f'd as far as Im concerned.
Between those two matches Bayern passed ball something like 1600 times against Real's 800 times and the possesion was 64% for Bayern and 36% for Real. Wouppiduu for them because the goals go : Bayern 0 Real 5 end of......
Ancelotti is a ****ing good coach and a genuinely nice bloke too. Despite his Chelsea link and my lack of fondness for Real, I hope for his sake they win it.
We were saying similar last season when the semi aggregate was Barca 0 Bayern 7. On Sunday I watched about 5 minutes of Barca's game they were 3-2 up and two players about 5 yards apart played 10 passes in 5 seconds like a pinball machine before a defender got the hump and kicked one of them in the air. It's sleep inducing...
*****ose wasn't it ? I thought he played well, out wide to help protect the wing and did, looked assured. Takes a while for players brought up in the country to adjust to Spanish football and he looks completely at home now.
Only found out last night that Real coach Paul Clement is the son of our own Dave Clement. He went into coaching at 23 after realising he wasn't going to make it as a player. He's obviously highly rated by Ancelotti.
Stroller, from memory there was a thread about him on here a month or so ago, following an artical in one of the newspapers.....
Keep up Stroller.....Clement looks very promising, coached at Chelsea (ahem) PSG and Real, I'd love us to be the ones to give him his first chance at management. As soon as possible. He's also been a teacher so knows how to handle ignorant kids, a vital asset in football management.
