dec 21 2012 nick pope says many people believe the end of the world could happen on this date -they dont think an end of world will happn but instead there will be a spiritual transformation=im confused after reading this?
touble is all these religious people be spouting this **** about rapture stuff -yet on the 22nd dec 2012 these religious freeks will say sory got it wrong
No, I think they might be right this time. It's around that time that Jupiter is set to disappear up Uranus which was foretold by the Jellywocky people of Australia in 1232.
I've heard this **** about the Mayan calendar ending in 2012 and therefore the world will end next year. But I went into WH Smiths at lunchtime and their calendars all go into January 2013 so stop worrying about it.
What is the point? If it doesn't happen you look like a prick for suggesting it and if it does happen we'd all be either dead or up in what ever version of heaven these mugs think they are going to saying "I told you so". Rapture - not the best song Blondie ever did by the way.
How did people make the connection between the end of the Mayan calendar and the Armageddon scenarios they throw about?
Does the Mayan calendar have topless birds? All the calendars we have been sent at work are boring as f*ck, just photos of flash cars and views of mountains. Nobody does filty calendars any more, a few Mayan birds with their tats out would go down well
It’s only that the Mayan calendar stops in late December 2012. All the other guff is superstitious gimboids trying to fit vague predictions to vaguely tally with it. Some say the Mayans had predicted some cataclysmic cosmological event occurring on this date (eg, a twatting great asteroid/comet due to hit) which will either total the planet or total the civilisation on it that will takes 1000s of years to rise again (doubtless amidst a bunch of moronic religions). It’s much more likely, though, that in designing their excellent circular, heavenly body charting system that our date of late December 2012 was a handy place to stop and leaves plenty of time to design another one to take care of the following 5,000 years.
