It probably won't be City anymore but how do you think the top 6 will finish and how will go up? I'd say: 1.QPR (C) 2.Norwich (P) 3.Cardiff 4.Swansea 5.Reading (P) As they're hitting red-hot form at the perfect time. 6.Leeds
well hopefully not, we're only a point behind them! can't see Leeds's defence get them thru 3 play-off games.. IMO the Welsh clubs and Reading are better than Leeds & Norwich. As promoted clubs they've done fantastically you have to say so have Millwall (as much as I despise them). I actually think Norwich will end up empty-handed.. QPR champions surely, today they thought they could turn up and roll over a poor Scunny team.. but got a wake-up call.. Are we out of it? not yet..
Oh yeah sorry, I meant Nottingham Forest just so Leeds don't get a top 6 finish. Of course i'd prefer City to get a play-off place but I just can't see that happening.
I feel the same, just think our home form has cost us too much. Main thing for me now is to finish above TWS. Would be quite happy with that. Then it's onwards to next season. Now how can you buy a season ticket for the away matches.
1) QPR 2) Norwich 3) Swansea 4) Reading 5) Cardiff 6) Leeds 7) Millwall 8) Leicester 9) Forest 10) Hull 11) Watford 12) Burnley 13) Ipswich 14) Portsmouth 15) M'boro 16) Barnsley 17) Bristol City 18) Doncaster 19) Coventry 20) Derby 21) Palace 22) Preston 23) S****horpe 24) Sheffield All of Millwall, Leicester, Hull and Ipswich will have decent ends to the season but all of us hjave left it much too late. Next season should be good with not any brilliant teams coming down. West Ham, Wolves and Wigan to drop.
I'm hoping Reading finish in the top 3 as i had a each way bet on them to win the league at the start of the season. Think the 3 going up will be QPR, Norwich and Swansea, City finishing 8th or 9th. Wigan will struggle if they come down, due to alot of their foreign players leaving and i suspect their attendances will drop even further. If Wolves come down i can see them being competitive as they'll still have the likes of Ebanks-Blake and Hammil, possibly lose Doyle and Jarvis though.
Interesting to note that we are the highest placed of last seasons relegated prem teams and all 3 promoted teams from last season are above us. Momentum does have a bearing on how a team does the following year so a good finish is important for us. If we can end the season with some good decisive wins over Crippled Alice, Donny, and Boro we might be able to hit the ground running next August
