https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...est-result-15-minutes-key-opening-venues.html Still some way to go but things are looking up. Forget the doom and gloom, time to look forward to next year.
So, you're stood in the queue for one of the events.... you take the test.... its positive, what happens to the people who are stood around you for 15 minutes waiting for their results..... self isolation...?... and second, who should be picking up the bill for the test to allow you to get into the event should you want to go...? I read the other day the 'current' debt on every person living in the UK is 36k.... might as well just add it to that...
Anyone getting a test would quite obviously have to still socially distance, the same as they would anywhere else and they'd presumably have to pay for the test themselves.
So imagine, Cold Play, Little mix or whoever it is are playing.... can we honestly say that someone who has tested positive, even doing the test at home, who is desperate to go, because their friends are going is not going to say 'I'm negative'... its a can of worms...
I’d hope everyone who goes to see Coldplay gets it and dies a horrible death making sure they give it to that whiny ****er
If you want a Freedom Pass, you'll have to go and get tested, pass the test and then be given a pass, it's obviously not something you can just claim you've got.
' A rapid Covid test which costs just £5 could finally allow Britons back into concerts and sports events. A negative result would allow millions of people the freedom to socialise and experts say this could be key to moving away from strict coronavirus restrictions.'
Would still need to be socially distanced with reduced capacities, but definitely a step in the right direction which I would support
A business opportunity for someone selling fake negative results and another nice little earner for thoose that get the government contract...**** idea all round, impractical and not needed when the R number is already below 1 and the virus will naturally disappear as we come out of winter.
That didn't last long... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...new-Covid-tests-REALLY-going-normal-life.html Time for new leadership.
