I have been away for the best part of the last month but usually post my end of season FINAL TABLE PREDICTION prior to the first game , with 4 games gone I have fine tuned the table I had SET UP at the end of July before going away only by changing the finishing order of 2 teams in the top 10, and changing City for Bpool, and Burnley for Millwall. BIRMINGHAM MIDDSBORO WEST HAM LEICS READING Nforest CARDIFF SOTON City LEEDS CPalace DERBY BLACKPOOL BURNLEY MILLWALL PORTSMOUTH IPSWICH BARNSLEY COVENTRY BRIGHTON HULL DONCASTER PETERBORO WATFORD PS. posted yesterday about 3pm on another well known site!
i can only assume that your fans are really being taken for a ride over the maynard deal. dont you lot understand, it doesnt matter whether we buy him or a prem club, he wont be sold until the very last min so your manager then has no time whatsoever to buy any players himself. cant you lot see you are being shafted to the point that your board really dont give two hoots whether you are in a relegation battle or not as long as they can get big earner maynard off the wage bill and pocket 6-7 million . wake up and smell the coffee
dont you understand we really couldn't give a **** what you have to say...... and as for the table.....perhaps
I don't get how you can think Brighton will finish so low given their current start. I would also say no chance of Birmingham finish top, poor start so far and likely to lose more players before the deadline. As for Maynard we have players like Pitman (due to a rubbish manager) sits on the bench so we are not in a position that if maynard was sold a minute before the deadline we are then struggling for strikers. Currently we have too many and need to let a few go. Still think clarkson or Stead might go. I'd also like to see more of Jackson as he looks like a striker who is similar to maynard who has pace and can find the net just needs some more experience. Hopefully we can tie up Stambolziev to a contract. The future players of the club look good, just need a manager who can put the pieces together
Why is it that every thread that is on here, we get a Leicester fan commenting about Maynard. If he wanted to sign for you he would of put a transfer request in and moved, but for your so called massive club and endless amounts of cash, he obviously ain't interested in you! Back to the thread that this is about, I think we have been mixed up with Brighton on this league table.
Hi PREM Well I did the table pre season..as always, Other than the couple of changes I made in the first week I was away...before game 1 I stand by my convictions. It would have been so easy to just publish a table based on early results but that is not my way. Last season it was not a great result on positions, but the previous 3 seasons were pretty accurate!! Its all topsy turvey at the moment.... andyandy..table was constructed before the good start ! Lan 5 games does not a season make
mrr yep it appears so, but there is 41 games to go and probably snow, frost temps around 6 degrees torrential rain player injuries to contend with. CITY NOW HAVE 4 HOME AND 3 AWAY to contend with, leeds and reading are in the bottom 10 the rest are better than 13th. after 12 games I will start to begin to have a small doubt if we are not on 14pts or better
Next Championship manager to be sacked....latest odds... * 7/2 – Andy Thorn (Coventry) * 11/2 – Steve McClaren (Nottingham Forest) * 11/2 – Simon Grayson (Leeds United) * 6/1 – Keith Millen (Bristol City) * 8/1 – Sean O’Driscoll (Doncaster) * 8/1 – Nigel Pearson (Hull City) * 10/1 – Paul Jewell (Ipswich) * 10/1 – Eddie Howe (Burnley) * 12/1 – Sven Goran Eriksson (Leicester) * 14/1 – Keith Hill (Barnsley) * 14/1 – Ian Holloway (Blackpool) * 16/1 – Chris Hughton (Birmingha*m City) * 16/1 – Sam Allardyce (West Ham) * 20/1 – Steve Cotterill (Portsmouth) * 20/1 – Malky Mackay (Cardiff City) * 25/1 – Darren Ferguson (Peterborough) * 25/1 – Dougie Freedman (C.Palace) * 25/1 – Brian McDermott (Reading) * 25/1 – Nigel Clough (Derby) * 33/1 – Gus Poyet (Brighton & HA) * 33/1 – Nigel Adkins (Southampton) * 33/1 – Tony Mowbray (Middlesbrough) * 33/1 – Kenny Jackett (Millwall) Ol' Teflon Keef still hanging on......
Christ I take that table, really can not see that position for us come the end, unless the manager is changed shortly.
