OK, just for laughs - where do we think Leeds will end up after 46 games?

Money where your mouth is, one vote only, no changing it afterwards. <laugh>

We have to do it Davy.

Opportunities don't come along very often, especially for Leeds..

Every game from now onwards is a Cup Final

We have to make autos, doubt we will get such a chance again, for a long time anyway.
Providing EFL don't bu--er everything up for us.
Playoffs no good my heart wouldn't stand it.

I’ve edged towards playoffs. Hope I’m wrong but we’re just not collecting near enough points at present. Hopefully we can turn that around

Too right Elland - will we though?

With my realistic head on, I think we'll end up in the play-offs, simply because we don't get enough shots on target, never mind score enough goals. I hope I'm wrong. <laugh>

I thought it would be interesting to get a feeling for what the fan base as a whole thinks at this stage, even from a fairly limited and perhaps unrepresentative sample. <cool>

I've gone for play offs, which is still more than I hoped for the day before the season kicked off, so to be honest I don't care where we actually finish, as this is the first time in many seasons where I can say I've actually enjoyed watching us play, even with the minor hiccups and the poor run that we are going through at present.

I've been on record for quite some time by saying that I'm not fussed if we get promoted. I've just been enjoying my football. So why am I now saying that we will be Champions, especially as the wheels are flying off, according to some? Well, I still don't care, but for me there are important positive factors to consider for the run-in. Despite the adversity we've faced with injuries, controversies, etc., we're still in 2nd place. This is a stunning achievement. So why all the negativity? A few (hopefully) positive comments ...

Attack: Roofey is still doing it; Roberts is getting better, & Bamford appears to be back. Add to that the possibility of a solid contribution from Brown, and you have a chunkier front end to our team for the run-in.

Midfield: more reliable options now than at the start of the season. Clarke has blossomed. Harrison, though still vilified, has become more productive as the season has progressed. Alioski's contribution is finally being recognised by even the knuckle-draggers now. Even though much maligned, Klich & Forshaw are a positive force. Baker (Edit: originally said Brown by mistake) has been found out & discarded. And let's not go anywhere near Saiz here.

Creativity: Pablo is still doing it for us, loose passing & all. Izzy possibly might too. Saiz is a noticeably loss, but remember there were times he couldn't get into the team & we were doing just fine.

Defence: We've now got genuine competition for GK. Was never convinced by Blackman, personally. We've had 13 back 4's so far. Far from top of the league stuff, eh? Oh, wait a minute! :) So where will we be with more stability? Only one answer, I hope. Pontus & Coops are solid in the middle, Berra is coming back, & Halme can be trusted to fill in as required. We seem to have loads of options at FB too, especially with the unexpected u23 contributions. Who'd have thought Shackleton as a RB, eh?

Injuries: we're coming out of the woods with injuries. It's unprecedented to have a run of injuries like we've had, so the odds must be astronomical for it to happen again in the run-in. Surely?

u23s. Who'd have thought we'd have blooded so many u23s by now? It's not even been an occasional games due to injuries, cups, or whatever. It's been loads of games that counted! At this stage, our blooded u23s are more reliable that the herds of has-been journeymen we've had to call upon in the years gone by. Some of these lads will be contenders for being regular fixtures in the first team next year. Some are nearly there already.

    Bielsa: We've got Bielsa.

Why can you be anything but confident of being champions? If this old cynic - that doesn't particularly care about promotion - can predict us being Champions .....

I think we'll finished 3rd, Norwich have the better run in of all the teams up there, West Brom's fire power will see them over the line.
Play off 3rd v 6th Derby, sky having orgasms for a week before and during the ties, those games we'll win, then on to Sheff Utd in the final. A tight 1-0 to us.

Disagree. Norwich have lost their consistency. Just like us.

The Baggies firepower? Where has it got them so far? Not top, for a start. So why is it going to be different in the run in? I'm genuinely curious about the logic.

Norwich have lost 1 in the last 17, have an easier run in.

West Brom have had Gayle and Rodriguez out at varying parts of the season they are both fit and playing now, with Robson-Kanu as back up, I just think their experience and the 3 signings they made in January who should create more chances for them will get them over the line.

Our lack of squad depth will be the thorn in our side.

All just my opinion of course and only time will tell.

Hope I'm wrong and we do it through the autos.

They did lose their 2nd best player in Harvey Barnes, but think it will go to whoever wins at Elland road when we play them.

Not so sure about the easier run in. That's all in the minds of the players & we'll see who can take the pressure. Hope it's us! :) Remember, in this league, anyone can beat anyone. And they do!

Still not convinced about the Baggies, though. Yup, they've had players out, but only one striker at a time, as I recall. Compare that to us only having one striker for the majority of the season!

Perhaps I'm overly optimistic, but I really don't see ANY Championship team being better than us or having first dibbs on being champions. Note the careful wording - I'm not actually saying we're better than everyone else.

Definitely a big loss, I expect us to get 7 points from our next 3 games, beat West Brom and it's ours to lose if so but it never works out that way.

To be fair when you look at the last 5 games of the top 14, the majority of teams are doing just as crap as us, with the points ranging from 6 to 9 points, which isn't that impressive for any team challenging for promotion/play offs.

Preston and Norwich have both won 11 points out of the last 15, with Bristol City being the form team, with 5 wins out of 5, in fact since losing to us, Bristol City have taken 28 points out of 36, having won 8 and drawn 4, they are possibly the team to look out for, although they do have a tough run of fixtures coming in March, and also play Norwich away later this month

Norwich have been going great and will be in one of the two automatic positions, the second place is up for grabs, and the way things are going anyone could claim that spot at present

Old adage but there will be plenty more twists and turns yet, Preston won't be easy for Norwich mid week, they've had a few good results of late. Sheff Utd v Boro also midweek, but they're all irrelevant if we keep winning ours.
