Not long back from the game and to be honest I felt like we had been robbed. Their second goal was clearly offside and the linesman in front of the West Stand didn't have a clue all game and could not keep up with play. He was constantly waiting for the ref to make a decision before he flagged and was over ruled by the ref on one occasion. I felt like we scored too early and then sat back a little. Poor old Charlie Adam fell for the trap that most Stoke fans set when we get on a players back and get him riled. Spurs fans were a monkey on his back right from the kick off and I said to my mate even before he got his first booking that he was going to get sent off. Bale got the same if not worse stick from the Stoke fans but chose to rise above it and played his normal game. The Stoke support was fantastic and to see all those red and white stripes in the crowd with the black 150 was truly amazing. My final thought was the end of season players parade around the pitch with the players and their children and wives. Only saw one of the wives come out today and it was Wilko's, might have been down to the drizzle and hair do's and all that woman malarky but the thing I did notice was Pulis. He looked lost and walked around with the team as if he was just out of it all. He applauded the fans that stayed behind to salute the team for 2013 and looked every bit a man that was going or even gone. Not seen him like that before and it was almost as if it was his final farewell. I will eat my hat if he is Stoke's manager next season. The legends were great too and to see so many of my boyhood heroes out there on the pitch was again amazing. Great day out and not a bad team performance but a bit ****ty of Pulis that he could not give Michael Owen a run out as a final farewell to top flight football. please log in to view this image

Cheers Smithers. I thought we played well today and was gutted for Adam. he really wanted it today to shut the Spurs fans up and he got himself so fired up he got sent off. Stoke will never evolve whilst Shotton draws a wage from the club and pulls on a Stoke jersey. He was absolutely shocking again today and to be honest it was his mistake that got Adam sent off. Stoke's decline came about the same time he came back into the squad so you don't have to be a genius to work that one out!
Great Photo Waddo... You got me on there too! Look at the No Block 22 go 3rd row behind the wall. Look 3rd person to the left... The guy in black with the White sleeves is yours truly. Adam was unlucky, he got clipped taken out by Dempsey for the free kick which we scored from. NO booking? And why did vertongen stay down? Yep Charlie went in with studs showing but never got close to touching him? Booked for the intent. 2nd booking fair enough but, the ref could not get the 2nd yellow out of his pocket quick enough could he! Also Bale twice went in with both studs showing, once on Begovic and all in all once Adam went off it was game over. Good performance first half and WTF has Shotton done to keep his place? Cos I don't know.
Nice one Potts now we all know what you look like Adam reminded me today of how Jonny walters plays when we play Norwich. He tried way too hard and was over committing himself due to the history between him and Spurs. Shotton is a disgrace to pull on a Stoke top and only in the team because he now wears the special ball drying vest that Delap used to wear. Sadly for this reason Pulis most go as to be still playing this crap tactic and sacrificing a decent player for the likes of Shotton is a massive mistake to make!
Waddo You may yet get your wish... I KNOW you don't take to the Sunderland fans.. What odds Wigan beat the Goonies and the Villa? To win the cup and stay up a guy told me that as of last Wednesday they were 300/1 Fancy a fiver on that? Don't know what they are now since winning the cup though.
Potts whilst I appreciate your North East connections mate I would love to see Sunderland relegated. I know they have some decent fans on their boards, but the ones that were on here last season after the Huth incident deserve to be watching championship football next season
