There is a full review of the best and worst, but i thought focus shoud be on our players, past and present, this is from F365: Manager Of The Year:Sir Alex Ferguson. The United manager bows out having restored United to their perch. Michael Laudrup also deserves credit for leading Swansea to their first major trophy as well as a top-ten finish. - My thoughts- If Sir Alex wasnt on his way out Laudrup would have walked away with this one... Signing Of The Season: Robin van Persie and Michu both offered excellent value at £24million and £2million, while Aston Villa will make a healthy profit on Christian Benteke - My thoughts- Agree, regardless of cost RVP has done well all season. Worst Signing Of The Season: Chris Samba has cost QPR £1.56million (in wages and transfer fee) for each point they have gained since signing the defender in January. At £15million, Joe Allen looks worse value than Jordan Henderson at Liverpool. Scott Sinclair has predictably had zero impact at Man City, along with Javi Garcia, while Matt Jarvis hasn't provided a single assist since his £10.75million move to West Ham. - My thoughts- HAHAHA ! Worst Decision Of The Season: Danny Graham turned down the chance to win a League Cup winner's medal with Swansea in favour of a £5million move to Sunderland. Thirteen games and no goals later, we imagine he regrets his decision My thoughts Personal reasons or not... Silly boy !! But thanks for moving yourself on, it saved us doing it in the close season. Attempted Murder Of The Season: Ashley Williams kicking a football at Robin van Persie's head. My thoughts shows how well we done for Sir Alex to deflect attention... Brendanism Of The Season: "I've always said you can live without water for many days, but you can't live for a second without hope My thoughts does he google witty quotes by David Brent..
you dont get manager of the season as a loser ffs.....laudrup is not even in the top 8....He could have been if he never tweaked the team half way through the season to many times and spoiled things...Michu has to be the best buy of the season by a mile and tremmel has to be the best keeper as a number two, He is better than a lot of premiership first team keepers and i hope we dont lose him as his patients must be wearing thin not being first choice...we definitely won the best pitch award as what dan has done to keep both codes happy takes some special skill....we must be up the top with away support for the size of our club so that deserves congratulations and we are also up there with the best for welcoming teams and away fans to the liberty with no trouble.....the season overall has been a success but we lost a bit of ground in the latter stages that needs to be addressed...the football was not as good as it were.....
Quite right Dai, however ML is not a loser, he is in fact a winner. Evidence for this? That shiny trophy we recently won.
I dont mean a loser in the sense you are thinking valley...more of the way he has let other managers out fought him in the later stages of the season otherwise i would have put him near the top...
