Player of the Year - Karl Henry - seriously, he's played above my expectations all of the time. Yoof stuff - Dunno Yoof stuff - Dunno Goal of the season - Zamora away WBA Supporter of the season - Mr Swords "It's the way I tell 'em" Hoopster.
Hey, we've got a groundswell (though I'm not sure what that is). Perhaps QPR Not606 can get Karl the prize. I suppose his competition is Green, Austin and Barton. If Barton gets it I'll cry. Phillips has only played a few games and Col doesn't like him. My favourite player this year has been Isla, but, rather like Taiwo, I don't think he's very good, at least not for us.
Maybe we can get a 'groundswell' if we all voted Sword's as supporter of the season on here. Here's a picture of him receiving the news of aforementioned award... please log in to view this image As for Isla, he is like an Inbetweener. Not a full back and not a right winger. He'd be Okay if he had the dedicated versions in front and behind him ( Oh no he isn't! ) A luxury we can ill afford unless we can field twelve players.
Player of the year - Young Joey. Young player - Greco Reece Cox Goal of the season - Matty Phillips Supporter of the year - Richard Ireland Butler
Voted Barton, he has been our best in about 80% of the games he played IMO and close to it in all the others except the one. Don't cry Sylvio, just change your vote then you'll have done the right thing and needn't cry! Bobby's goal at WBA must be PLGoal of the Season contender and is mine. I seen too little of our Youth players to vote. Supporter of the Year - all who go on giving support til we are mathematically down. Hope to hear you a hell of a lot better and with belief, than for Hammers.
Has to be SWP, loyalty beyond the call of duty. He just loves this club so much he couldn't bring himself to leave...
One category missing on the list which would have several contenders, 'Golden Wheelbarrow of the Year', awarded to the player who has banked most money in relation to their minutes on the pitch...
It sums up our season perfectly if people think that Karl Henry has been our best player. Not good enough for the Premier League.
Henry as he was the key player in most of our games for me All the Irish fans Best people on the planet Matt Phillips v Palace as I was there to see it Taarabt is still the best player at the club Barton has played very well but hasn't the right football brain for me

Although he's played well, I'm surprised that Henry is getting so much support. Like Stroller, I'm not convinced he is true Premier League quality, which says a lot about our problems this season. Personally, I think there have been three players with a strong claim for POTY: Austin, Green and Barton. A striker getting 17 goals in a struggling team would ordinarily walk away with the title but, for me, Charlie's all round game comes up a bit short and two very poor penalty misses might be the difference between us staying up and going down. It may sound odd for someone who has his knack of scoring goals but, to me, he looks out of his depth at times. It may also sound slightly absurd when talking about a striker but, despite his undoubted hard work, he offers very little other than his goals (!) Green has made some absolutely fantastic saves throughout the season and, despite his abysmal kicking and the resultant loss to Chelsea, he was until recently my choice. However, I have felt that Joey Barton has easily been man of the match on so many occasions this season that he just pips the other two and gets my vote.
My post regarding Henry was deliberately ambiguous Rodders. If he's been our best player then the team as a whole is not good enough for the Premier League. Barton wins it for me, with Austin second.
Player of the year - Austin Goal of the season - Austin's goal against Southampton Youth - I've barely noticed any, which is a problem for the club in itself Supporter of the year - all of us for our loyalty and huge degree of patience
