This post has been put up only for positive comments after the City game. We were all traumatised after the Swansea game and a lot was said in a bad way, mostly, which when reading makes you feel even more depressed. So I believe that positive comments breeds positive attitudes. We have seen some tremendous talent bought in the summer which I'm sure most of us would agree never thought was really going to happen especially the amount of new players acquired. We have great owners with great visions and they also know they have great FANS who will support them come wind rain or shine so whether we win lose or draw today let's try and just take the positives from the game and look forward to the new recruits bedding in quickly so that we can REALLY start to enjoy the best league in the world
We have nothing to loose today, if we get anything out this game then its a bonus, as long as we do not get mullered we are moving in the right direction
I'm positive that we will get a black eye today particularly if Onouha plays CB and Green continues to ignore the ball at corners.
Whatever happens today, we know our team will be stronger the next game, and stronger after that. Today will probably be a bad day, but it will get better. People just need to keep their heads and not go of on a tangent because we lose. We might even lose the next 2 or 3 after that, but this team will start to play, of that I am sure.
With respect, we live in a country in which freedom of speech is granted, ergo I'll post what I think. Thanks for the advice though!
Blimey don't people take these threads so seriously chill out its the football WE love. Now get urself ready for the game and only come back here if u have something positive to say!!
Well I'm glad theres being no negative on this thread since the game finished so at least the thread title worked. On no can I hear someone coming along to spoil the party?
Fraulin played - back before he was expected to be . That's got to be a positive. Also, Dyer didn't get injured - positive number 2 Sadly, I didn't see any more than half an hour's worth due to work
The result sucked but all in all i am encouraged. They showed potential and at times we saw glimpses of that. Great to see Ali back. A loss none the less but to be honest i didn't expect any more. We didn't disgrace ourselves and i believe we may have a bright future. U Rrrrrrrs.
I should have said that I saw from about 15 minutes in until the end of the first half. Saw a couple of Fabio challenges that looked very good, and some good forward play from the same. I thought that from the time I saw, we looked ok against the champions - it was only the defense that worried me. And hopefully with Mbia in, we'll look stronger next game. Also, again we were ok when I watched, but I didn't think Green looked that bad....
