This is not me having a go, lets get that straight right away. But, Come on Sunderland fans, you are in the 5th round of the cup, with a good chance to reach the Quarter finals! Why is your stadium not full to the brim. A full stadium could be the difference between winning and losing!! I do not understand why your ground is not full?? If we had been a better team and put out a better team, and had reached this stage of the cup our ground would have been full to brimming. Whats up? I do not understand why the ground is so empty!! Can someone help me with an explanation? I cant think of one so help me out here??

One of the local families is having a family day out for a special occasion, that's why only half the fans are there. <ok>

Why is the ground so empty?? What happened to the hotbed of football the northeast is supposed to be?? Sunderland fans are at the moment shooting that duck right out of the ****ing sky quite easily!! LOL

They are legendary for their invisible fans and their pink seats.
Here's a pic of RAW with his invisible mates.

If this had been us playing Southampton at this time, we would have been drinking since 9am, toon full of black n white shirts, Lads having a laugh with opposing fans, Sky going crazy with daft interviews with daft fans etc!!! This is not sour grapes, but, **** Me, do they even care about their team?? Come on! In the words of that renowned chef and fan, DELIA SMITH,, "Where ARE YOU??"

As Sir Niall Of Quinn pointed out.... all in the boozer shouting at Mr Samsung and drinking snakey.
If they closed the pubs for 90 minutes they would have a full house.

Not for the full 90 minutes though, some of them tend to leave early.

The whole point of the thread was why is their ground so ****ing empty!! Its a joke! Yes we might be mad supporting the **** we see every week but look! I thought a fan was someone that supports their team through thick and thin!! Their real FANBASE must so small. For all their bluster they have so few real fans, it must be horrible for their real fans to face up to facts. You have very few real fans!! I would call them Glory fans but that is perhaps an incorrect description!!

Sorry AB, you are right. They will have a full house until the 70th minute.

Gus Poyet must be scratching his head at the support being given to his team. Chance to get into the ¼ Finals and there are more empty seats than spectators. Southampton supporters a lot more vocal too. TV just said only 16,000 attendance. Pathetic
