...not only from yesterday, but the whole season has left me, and no doubt many of you completley drained!

It has been a massive season of ups and downs for all clubs but our season has been unbelievable to say the least.

Yesterday summed up our season, and condensed it down into 90 minutes. To have been at the Eithad watching it all unfold was amazing.

When stoke scored to make it 1-0 the qpr fans went into raptures. But it quickly turned round and half time was agony. I was devastated and couldnt see us scoring and bolton not winning at that stage. But three minutes into the second period and up steps Cisse! What a goal, and it compeltley swung my emotions round, I didnt know whether to laugh or cry!

Then disaster, Barton has a moment of madness and looks to have condemed us back to relegation again! All in the space of 60 minutes!

Somehow we go 2-1 up and Stoke equalise to send the rangers fans absolutley wild! We looked like holding on, and when it got to 90 mins I simply couldnt see City scoring two! They equalised, but I looked over to our bench to see our coaches and subs celebrating like mad, jumping around on the touchline! Cue pandemonium!

From that point, I didnt give a damn that we lost 3-2. Who cares. Our single aim for weeks had been achieved against all the odds! We stayed up despite our run in, and bolton seemingly having and easier run!

To see the whole stadium celebrating was stunning. Their fans went mad, so did ours! Our players tried their best to come over to us, a few did - mackie, ferdinand, hill etc.. But many simply couldnt get through the masses! We joined in with Blue Moon, with all the celebrations.

I have never seen two sets of supporters have such respect and admiration for eachother. We were singing "we are staying up" they responded with "you are staying up"! Brilliant!

There was constant clapping between fans, and as we walked down the road back to our car, the city fans at the side of the road clapped us and loads shook our hands.

The proper Manchester club won the league, and for that reason, I can take the loss. City have proper fans, who appreciate what success and failure is. Good luck to them. But the most important thing of all, is WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE!

Great piece of writing that has left me smiling Judo. I could see on the Telly that the rangers fans remained in the stadium after the final whistle. I couldn't workout if it was because they wanted to or whether they couldn't leave. Did you clap the city players and if so did they acknowledge the R's army?

Don't blame you. <ok> It's been a great season for all 20 Premier League clubs I feel. At least you can relax this summer knowing that come August you are a Premier League club! <cheers>

999 - everyone stayed becuase they wanted to. we did clap the city players, but not much response apart from Mancini coming over to sign autographs.

NCFC - It has been a brilliant season, although if we had gone down im not sure I would have said the same! Congrats to you guys for having your fate sealed before the last game!

The club were saying on twitter that the players wanted to come out and acknowledge us but city wouldn't let them come out

Fair enough! <ok> Certainly exciting for the neutrals though.

Given the run in QPR had and the results the team got in the run in being a QPR fan would have been exciting and the team would have without a doubt deserved to stay up.

I felt sick for our last 2 games. It was horrible! I think justice was done though - what with our goal at bolton not being given. If that had cost us our PL place it would have been a tragedy.

It wasn't a corner though. But at least you got away with that Cisse goal being offside!

I remember last time in the Premier League, going to Fulham on the last day knowing it was in out hands to stay up and that we hadn't won away all season. Absolutely devastated to have lost 6-0 so I know how you must have felt before yesterday.

Nice write up judo. Totally agree - woke up this morning knackered and feel it was due to the emotion of it all, and the relief. I like it when you talk about good banter and respect between r's and theirs, it's not new though. I went to Maine road twice and both times the atmosphere was the same - mutually respectful, good natured and funny.

How many times did I give up hope and think, well that's us ****ed then?

2nd Liverpool goal at home, cisse sending off away to Sunderland , 89 minutes at home to stoke...

and yet we kept coming back, thought we'd saved the best till last, but hey ho, we stayed up after the final twist.
