I find it astonishing that no one on here has even mentioned his name! City have said he's available for loan or buy, but don't want to do buisness with any other top 4 team, if city are willing to pay half of his wages then why don't we enquire over a possible 1 year loan deal, the man would be class for us and the prospect of him and Gyan up top would frighten any defence!

What both of you and everyone else has said, total waste of money at a time when we need to rid ourselves of overpaid players who are quite frankly ****e.

Would be our best player by a country mile if he'd come on £50,000 a week.

He's currently on £150,000 a week and spent the last six months at the richest and most famous/prestigious club in the world... Why the **** would he come here?

I'm sorry but I just dont see it. He is a luxury player and one we can neither afford financially or morally. I think he epitomises just about everything I hate in the modern game. Greed, selfishness and a couldn't give a flying **** about the club I play for attitude.

Would be hugely disappointed with this even if it were only half true.

You'd be disappointed if he came to us and wasn't even our top earner?

    Fair enough mate.

I want someone who want to stay and not simply come to keep his engine ticking over while he waits for a better offer. Is he REALLY going to bust his arse for us on a bone-hard pitch in a mid-week December game in Wigan or Swansea?

And as for his effect on the dressing room.

This goes for any other overpriced egomaniac 'n all.

The bloke is poison and he would wreck any harmony in our dressing room.
