I (vaguely) remember that in 1955 York City, then in Div 3 played against N/C in the FA Cup Semi Final.

They took the game to a replay, (at Roker Park), but lost.

That thought came back to me as she hoisted her cup.
She had though, gone two better than York City.

If you have a place in your memory for Great Sporting Shocks, put her win there.

It sits with York City's cup run and even more of a shock than our 1973 win.
