Emile Heskey was down at the training ground today. Im not saying he is signing but its interesting either way.

He is a free agent and im sure he would love to sign if there was a chance. He helped save the club before so his wages could be reasonable

Emile isn't a free agent. He only signed a new deal with Newcastle Jets in April to stay until 2014.

He has an agreement saying he can leave for nothing if a club in England offers him a contract. So he pretty much is a free agent

Bruno was one of my favourite players - did all the dirty work and took all the abuse from players and fans without complaint.

If he wants to come back and show our lads what a modern footballer should be like I'm all for it although it is more likely because it is off season in the A League and he is back visiting his family and dropped in for a few publicity pics for the website and program.

He'd still be awesome at this level ... but NP has already stated 'no more incomings' ... I would be chuffed to bits if he did come ... watching the first touch of our current crop makes you realise just how good a technical footballer he is ..

I'd kill for him to come back, even though he won't. He'd be exactly the sort of signing we need, and is always a useful targetman in a 4-4-2 (or 5-3-2 even!).

Sign him up, might be a cheaper option than Futacs to warm the bench <ok>
