Opens tomorrow until 25 November. You can lend or borrow players for between 28 and 93 days - the latter takes you to the January window, when you can borrow players until the end of the season. I don't think we have any limit on squad size (apart from cost), not sure about non EU players.

I would be happy if we got rid of Traore and probably Hoilett, another right back coming in might be handy.

The Premiership clubs have already loaned out a staggering 166 players this summer - we got Konchesky and Angella - with 33 of these being Chelsea players. Their strategy is obviously to have every player in the world on their books, just in case one or two turn out to be good.

In what sense this is an 'emergency' is beyond me.

The transfer window might of slammed shut, but a window of other sorts has opened today: the emergency loan market. This means clubs in the Football League can sign players on a temporary basis until it closes again on November 25.

Only Football League clubs can take advantage of the window but they can loan players from Premier League clubs. No overseas players can be brought in by Football league clubs during this period.

Loans tend not to work out too well for us, apart from Townsend and Kyle Walker I can't think of too many in recent times that performed well, although I'm sure now that I've said that I'll be reminded about loads who have.
When players are being loaned 'down' they appear to act as though they're better than us in general. Can't be too good for the togetherness and team spirit and general bonhomie not to mention joie de vivre either. Oh well

Although loans are not preferable to team unity, I think we do need another striker to work with Charlie - Polter is a work in progress and may yet come good, JET has his limitations and RGC/Blackwood appear to not yet be fully developed for first team football, so a loanee from PL might be a good back-up option.

Additional back up in defence wouldn't go amiss either!

I think they should get rid of the window this season, basically because we are probably the team that need it the least :p

An inspiring forward and maybe a defender might be nice, however, happy enough with what we have
