Was wondering about the reaction from seeing this one. It's a shame a company's gone into administration but, hey ho, hopefully a new one takes over that is quite happy to sell us edible goods and lager that doesn't take like it's been brewed in Boris Johnson...
For what it's worth, why don't they try giving stalls to local bakeries? Helps local businesses a lot, think of the amount of sales they'd get on a matchday compared to even an entire week of normal trading, fans will get great quality home made food and will buy more, the food will possibly be cheaper to make (I don't know this as fact, but it's certainly cheaper at shelf price - bakers sausage roll = 80p, ginsters = £1.50) therefore more profit will be made, City could just take a commission off every item sold. Works out far better for everyone.
Great. If it means some flabby mouth-breathing teen doesn't to chomp on his xxl recycled carcass 'hot dog' near me spilling his ultra diluted 'ketchup' on his Bench jeans, then it can only help entice more families back into our community stadium.
As far as I'm aware, EMC don't run the concourse kiosks, they just do the corporate catering for match days and events at the KC.
Odd that Mrs "adam" Pearsons company that we mortgaged against for another 2 years has now gone into admin a week or two after the "picturegate" affair .... AP getting his own back maybe ? .... btw the only way I found out is I know a couple of people who work on the concourses etc so they have posted .. and its not just the KC as they look after craven park as well ... interesting
they control the staffing and stock for concourses as well as corporate events ... its what mr duffen mortgaged against for 5 years ...
I saw the FC clowns banging on about EMC being owned by AP's wife and being set up just to operate the KC, but they are an Uxbridge based company that cater at lots of stadiums. http://www.spotless.com/uk/food/
People comment on the beer, but I'm not sure you will find any quality in beer that shifts at a rate of 2,000 pints followed by a 2 week break followed by 2,000 pints etc
Yeah, I worked there before i went to uni. EMC supply the concourse at the KC and a load of other stadiums. Alot of the staff on a matchday are actually brought in from all over the country.
