I don't care I had to put this up,I can't believe how great he was tonight, I might be out of date but wow I am knackered dancing and prancing to the music, younger people might not agree but that was magic, the man is brilliant.

Fantastic closing slot at Glastonbury. Was lucky enough to see him at Ashton Gate last year.
    Outstanding show.
Happy Retirement Reg and thank you for the music

Wasn’t expecting much as aging pop stars often, understandably, seem to be a shadow of their former selves (Debbie Harry, Candi Statton).
Saw him at AG a few years ago (backed by the Scissor Sisters) and wasn’t overly impressed then.
Last night however, I thought he was superb and the crowd seemed to approve!!
Surprised he started off the set with Pinball Wizard as it’s one of the few songs from his back catalogue not written by him/Taupin, and wonder how many people now think that Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting is a bit un-PC!!! Still love it myself .

I’ll make a point of watching the Elton John performance.
Talking of Glastonbury - did anyone see Rick Astley and KT Tunstall covering Highway to Hell (AC/DC)?

If not then I recommend you do - it was surprisingly brilliant - they absolutely nailed it.
Rock puritans - please give it a listen before you dismiss it - they did very very well IMHO.

I have never been a fan of Elton John but thanks to Ann recording the last night at Glastonbury I saw one of the best performances I have ever witnessed. My Somerset heart spent the evening picking out the very well known spots I knew in the fading light and it brought back so many memories of my life out on the levels. This was the first time I have watched any of the performances out at Worthy Farm and it quite shook me as to how big the area is and the crowds all looked as if they were having the night of their lives. Wow!@#$. :emoticon-0137-clapp
