Very true! Just the sheer amount of goals he scored from out wide still amaes me today! Although i do agree elmo does deliver a better ball and is superbly athletic!
Ian, Ian, Ian, Ian Butler on the wing, on the the wing. We've got Ian, Ian, Ian, Ian Butler on the wing, on the the wing. Ian. Ian Butler. Ian Butler on the wi---ng Ian. Ian Butler. Ian Butler on the wing We've got Ian, Ian, Ian, Ian Butler on the wing, on the the wing......repeat ad nausium....
That's what he did the second time, that video. They gave him grief before hand too and he gave them a sly ****er sign which a few around me noticed as well!
Blimey Mussie, nice one... I remember singing that on the School Bus along with Waggy Waggy Waggy etc...
We all agree, McKechnie is better than Yashin. And Waggy is better than Eusabeo. And (insert oppostion teeamname) are in for a thrashin'.
Nah... wrong end of the city. I was at St.Richards (middle school) the bus from Preston Road was a daily hoot of city chants. The drivers would get really arsey! Great days...
Whilst we have quite a few players who will perform on the premier league stage - Elmo is a different level - he is playing in 2nd gear in this league. That's not a negative comment, it is just that he has so much more ability than the opposition.
Agreed and spot on these 2 posts. Ian Butler was this good when full backs could mug you for free. In this day and age wingers have it far to easy. In saying that Elmo is pure class and way too good for this league. We have a PL SQUAD ALREADY. MOST CERTAINLY A PL STARTING 11. WE ARE FAR BETTER THAN 2008 AND WITH JUST A DEAN WINDASS TYPE PLAYER NEEDED TO WALK AWAY WITH THIS LEAGUE. AS FOR STU ELLIOTT HE WAS CLASS IN OUR RISE FROM THE LOWER LEAGUES BUT SADLY WAS NOT AS GOOD AT THIS LEVEL. FACT. BUT STU ELLIOTT WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF THE LAST 10 YEARS AND WHAT THE CLUB HAS ACHIEVED. IMO
As for this,, well it just shows you how clueless TWS fans really are. The ref waved Elmo back on to the pith.
