He reads the game very, very well. He is great going forward and a rock in defence.

Looked to be a good crosser of the ball and impressive athletically. More of a right-mid than a right-back but I think he can handle the wing-back role well. Plays it for Egypt according to Bruce Snr. anyway. 7.7/10 ;)

He was slightly involved in the first, played Koren through who pulled it back for someone, got blocked, came to Aluko who scored

Mrs doubtfire has got gears, he wasnt fergies captain coz he didnt understand the game, sometimes you cant see his thinking, thats because he's better than us, he makes some massive errors aswel, he will get you back up though imho

Same here, I said when they announced Quinn as the winner that Elmo had no chance though, Quinn is much easier to spell and they'd both had good games. Elmo faded a bit in the second half, but he'd picked up a knock at some point in the first so was maybe not wanting to push it too much. (or could just be a general match fitness issue)

Hope so! Cattermole has tweeted that it's just a dead leg so fingers crossed on Meyler!

He was superb, good enough for Barcelona IMO, easily a top premiership player. MON is n idiot for letting him go.

I was worrying about him after hearing what some Sunderland fans had said (although there were a few who disagreed), but apart from one cross that was to near the keeper he put some decent and dangerous balls in. Was a very good debut, i'll judge him properly after a few more games as consistency is obviously key.
