Bit of an unnecessary dig by the RFL at the end there.

“Whilst we sympathise with the people who want to watch both the Hull derby and the FA Cup final, we believe that the most exciting match involving an East Yorkshire club on Saturday, May 17 will take place at the Etihad Stadium and not Wembley.”

Oh yeah, that fixture that can't even fill the KC.

We should just pat him on the head and ask him to move on.

    Pathetic attitude from the RFL.

I don't give a monkeys about rugby in any of its bastardised codes, but refusing to acknowledge the significance of the FA Cup final shows what a bitter, narrow minded set of twats run the game.

Saying 'our fixture list came out before your fixture list' is the type of petty, don't-give-a-****-about-anyone-but-ourselves approach best typified by the playground.

No adult would adopt such an immature approach to their work.

    Except PE teachers obviously.

"If Hull can win the Cup, they would become only the fifth Yorkshire club to play in European competition."

so how many other counties, apart from lancashire and whatever london is in, have had four?

Using pre-1974 counties like the Yorkshire Post do, there probably aren't many others that can muster 4 teams, let alone have four in Europe!
