Now I know he is not a huge star but would he be the right type of player to complement Suarez IF Torres leaves ? He would not be my first choice, but as his contract is up at the end of the season so he would be relatively cheap and we wont have much time between now and Monday evening. Ok he spent 9 months without a goal but that was under boring Megson rather than an attack minded (like Kenny) Coyle. I hope Torres does not leave and it was all an over reaction to the dragging on over the Suarez deal more agent led than him. If he does go, we will go on as we always have before !
