Sunderland AFC has today announced a major partnership with Worldlink Group Plc, who will become the club's official Sports Betting and Gaming Partner from the start of the 2012/13 Barclays Premier League season.

The three-year deal, which commences on August 1, 2012, will see Worldlink provide dedicated desktop and mobile applications together with its licensed bookmaking partner, BetButler.

BetButler, powered by Worldlink Sport, will offer Sunderland fans exclusive matchday betting provision, both at the Stadium of Light and online via the club's official website safc.com, sourcing the best odds across 60+ bookmakers to enhance supporters' betting experience.

Speaking about the new partnership, Sunderland AFC chief executive Margaret Byrne said: "I am absolutely delighted to welcome Worldlink as one of our key partners.

"They impressed us not only with their product but their commitment to a long term partnership and we are looking forward to building a successful relationship with them over the next three years.

Sunderland AFC's International marketing director Mike Farnan commented: "Worldlink are bringing amazing new technology to the betting and gaming sector which is going to provide our fans a superior betting experience.

"This echoes our commitment to partnering with top line international brands, who will give Sunderland fans access to the best possible products and services and we are delighted that they have chosen Sunderland as their first top flight football partner."

Neil Riches, Managing Director of Worldlink added: "I am thrilled to be announcing the first of several Premier League partnerships with Sunderland AFC .

"We are looking forward to providing the Sunderland fans with an enhanced betting experience, and developing a long term relationship with a club of such international prestige."

Im starting to think Ellis has had a look at these financial fair play rules and getting things in place now.

This guy can do no wrong!

How much do they give us? Or do SAFC get money from fans losing money? Probably betting on Sunderland against the likes of WBA...
