****ing hate the ****er me He's just creamed it off the top He does not care I will not set foot in that ground again while he is in charge He's taking the piss out of us fans
He's zeroing in on getting the club in a place where it can be sold so fair play to him. If we had him long term I'd be suicidal but he wants rid and he'll get his wish before long.
I hate the **** but there's no doubt in my mind this is the quickest way to get shot of him. Think about it, him pumping money into the club will only keep him here longer.
Agree about the tight ****er but it'll be our club long after he's gone (hopefully ASAP). So I'll be back for the Sheff U and Notts Forest games. My son (17 years old) has worked the whole summer season away from home, 11 hours a day every day, and I told him I would trawl the cheap flights sites and take him somewhere before school restarted. He wasn't interested in any other destination apart from back to GB and to get some games in, so **** Short, we'll be there anyway!
Seems like he's making steps at making the club sustainable. I don't hate that. He can do it and leave.
Echo the sentiments of most who have posted on the thread. I will go to every home game I am capable and any away games I can afford to too! Love SAFC - Hate Short!
We are due to move back to the North East very soon; hopefully in the next 3 weeks. I personally can't wait to get to the Stadium of Light to watch the lads. My 14 year old daughter, who has never been to a professional football game cant wait and is excited at the prospect of seeing a game or 10. When asked if she could go to a 'proper' match, the missus piped up - 'well that rules Sunderland out'.....bitch.
If he has he's barmy. We got more for finishing last in the Prem than Bayern Munich got for winning the Bundesliga. If Ellis holds his nerve, we can clear out the expensive dross, get the finances straight and go for promotion back into the gravy train of the Prem TV deal where the big bucks is at. Walking away now makes no sense to me TBH.
He simply doesn't give a flying hoot anymore, some might say he's been naive in backing **** managers who have wasted a ton of cash on mediocre players, others might say he's allowed top teams to disintergrate, the fact is now he no longer gives a ****
I disagree. He's tried his hand at it and failed miserably. Staying put and hoping for a promotion is a huge risk. Once he has us sustainable, he'd have to pump more money back in to try and get us back to the Prem, in all likelihood he would fail (he's quite clearly just not very good at this football lark), and then we're back to square 1. Except we'd very likely have even less saleable assets than we had this time. Nah, for me the best thing Short can do is get as much back as possible and **** off. Let somebody else have a go.
The sooner he sells and ****s off the better. He's mis-managed the club and plays to the galleries. His exorbitant interest rate charge says everything about his MO.
Yes.. The tight bastard has only put £300 million of his own money into the club and lost the lot... I can't understand why he will not keep on doing it either..
It's our club, not his. Nothing will stop me following the Lads. If you don't want to go to the SOL there are always the away games which are better anyway.
