Not sure whether he was conned into it or whether he did commit an offence but as one of the most senior players he should know better

Unless the Ref's been conned there is no excuse for being sent off in the 3rd ****ing minute of a local derby - twat !

Sounds like we were under the cosh most of the game but if guilty, I hope Cotts fines Elliot the maximum amount.

    from sc on twitter

SC: "The red card is a disgrace."

SC: "We'll appeal the red card. I've looked at it four times. It's our free kick if anything. Their lad dragged at Wade and went down."

    we was cheated

time for another 23 match unbeaten run now

I wasn't there but I get the feeling that Cotterill was playing for the draw, especially after him taking Agard off, there was only going to be one result.

didnt see incident, players and manager are furious about it, so sounds iffy, the ref was an absolute disgrace all game we couldnt buy a foul from him, then in next breath he'd give swindle a free kick for a lesser infringement.
Thought players tried really hard today, proud of them, but just thought that we played slightly too deep for too long, and in last 10 mins had a glorius chance for Wilbs to give us a deserved draw, but he blazed over and wide.
Dont think MTG that we would of played for a draw, but for sending off, and even then we tried, but cant fault us for trying to hold on away from home with 10 men against 3rd in division do you?

Didn't see the offence as the play moved forward. Their play acting along with a ****e ref totally ruined the game. I don't think we was under the cosh for a lot of the game, Agard was moved back into midfield but was not in it for the brief time in the second half. The period in the second where they was all over us you could see the goal coming.
After the goal they sat back and if Wilbs hit the target in the dying minutes we could of had a fantastic draw.

Not impressed with them, don't think they will be up there come the end.

And the ref was a complete cock who booked us due to their players acting like they've stepped on a land mine.

But the sign of a good team is how they respond to a defeat, so let's see how this goes.

Swindle players conned the ref perfectly, well done to them.

Ref's really wind me up- If he's got that one wrong, 12,000 odd fans have been denied 88 minutes of a better derby game-

If appeal is won, the ref should serve the one match ban- Even if red card appeal is successful, it wont change todays result. Just means he can play v Preston.

    I fu**ing don't. I couldn't care a flying f**k.

GOLDEN RULE - don't EVER give a Ref a decision to make.

Ice in their veins was the mantra all week - Elliott needs a pineapple.

Then the fairy tw*t Wagstaff get's booked soon after. We bottled it.

    End of.

As a complete neutral attending this game, I thought the behaviour of the Bristol players during the first 20 minutes or so, was pretty much deserved of a bringing the game into disrepute charge. As for Cotterrill's behaviour, that was just shocking and I am staggered he wasn't sent to the stand. As for the early red card, you must have your heads up your backsides if you disagree with it, it was so blatant.

I thought you had the edge throughout the first half, but Swindon came out after the break with a far more determined approach and in the end were well worth the win. Good vocal support from Bristol, but unfortunately some of you were hell bent on causing trouble. And for what it's worth, I thought the referee was actually quite
    decent.

You didn't say why you were there and who you normally support?

You don't sound very neutral to me.

Wagstaff's booking really riled me, he gave away a free kick. Ref has a word, Swindle take free kick and bang Wagstaff's hoofing him again. Either the Swindle player said something to wind him up or he was just stupid.

How can a serious professional agree with a player waving his hands in the air, celebrating the achievement of a fellow player being sent off, he and you are a disgrace to football, it's no wonder Spurs are on a downward slide with people like you aboard.
