Elite Development Squad

Apologies if this has been posted already, but 12 of the EDS have been let go, including Frankie Sutherland. I have no idea whether this is an average/normal number, and am resisting the temptation to jump to conclusions about the quality of our pipeline.

I wouldn't, 'elite' is a serious misnomer where our youth squad is concerned...

 

Should have added good luck to all the lads who are looking for work elsewhere.

 

Hopefully they will be picked up by other clubs. If not I wish them all the best for a career outside of football

 

The EDS squad have not been pulling down trees in their league....maybe because the best players are all out on loan. Note this is what JFH/SLF both said would happen. He feels loan is better for them. So not surprised...I expect to see at least one of thenm (Vardy like) in the Premiership in a couple of years

 

Really hoped Sutherland would break through as he's a Rangers fan and he looked like he had ability.
