His knees are now so stiff that he runs like a woodentop (look it up young'uns) but his positional sense is still amongst the best in the league and he never stops organising and cajoling. If the R's don't offer him a coaching contract they must be nuts.

I hear he played a great role as "leader" and had a good match.

However, he was pretty tired at the end and was "hoffing" it.

A great example to all!
 
Maybe but the one at left back would still be a liability.
There is a myth that Clint Hill is bad at left back. I've seen several performances by him in that position that were very good. It's just that it's not his position nor is it a position best suited to him. As a CB he is phenomenal. All the 'experts' keep telling us he's past it but to this date they are all wrong.
