Just read this book. It's about bizarre scientific experiments. Scientists really are ****ers. In the 60's three scietists injected 300 milligrams of LSD into an adult male elephant. It went a bit mental then it's tongue swelled up and turned blue and the elephant died. The next time they realised it would be better to give the elephants LSD in their water. This didn't kill them but apparently they had some tripping elephants. What did this prove? **** all, that's what. Just proves that if you're a research scientist that you can get away with cruelty and comedy experiments. Anyone want to give some E's to Gibbons with me???
I was thinking about this the other day - not elephants on LSD But how much money is wasted by scientists doing ****ty tests that nobody gives a **** about. Plus all them universities who do studies on people who prefer brown bread........or people who wear watches are more likely to....... Bunch of pricks.

There is a story in the book about a "scientist" in Africa who injected human sperm into Chimps and vice versa to try and create Monkey-men....obviously it failed.
Apparently he was a Soviet doctor in the 1920's who was commissioned by Stalin to continue his research because the Soviets believed that proving a link between man and monkey would be a massive blow to fundamentalist Christians in the US. The story said he "used the newly designed tools of artificial insemination".......so probably a turkey baster and a scud mag.
