All a bit of an anti-climax really. The party on the Friday night was enjoyable as the people were hand-picked. Usual ****s on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Apparently it was very busy on the Saturday night, apparently and there were a few proper dickheads there, but most were outside.
Well as long as they disinfected the table afterwards, as per COVID regs, it should not be a problem. The staff probably thought it was a sachet of salad cream that had been punctured!
Seems like more people are going into the smaller pubs but avoiding the bigger places like Wetherspoons for some reason
Fewer people means less chance of a vector for the virus I suppose. Plus, in a local you usually know most people and so familiarity will play a part.
True, I think it's good the smaller businesses are getting support too, so that could be a factor in people's choices
