Going to see the Icicle Works on Saturday in Liverpool. Doors open at 7.00 pm, so probably a 7.30 pm start. It's Rugby ****ing League magic weekend this weekend. Warrington play Wigan on Saturday with a KO time of 7.00 pm. All matches are being played where? Anfield How the **** am I going to get home? ****ing wools
No. Had a chaotic day/evening in Liverpool on Saturday. Officially went to see Icicle Works, but had to leave before they started as I was so scattered Side bar at the Adelphi Hotel. £5.70 for two pints of San Miguel. Terrific value for money. Watched the Tranmere play-off final. All the rugby league twats were coming in asking them to put it on the telly and were politely told to **** off. Perfect
Moving ****ing office today. Bastard nightmare. At least it's distracting me from tomorrow night. I couldn't do any normal work
**** day at work. First email I opened was a client withdrawing an offer due to poor references over the phone. I then had a call from another client telling Mr they were called by a candidate who was working his notice and due to start on the 17th. He was diagnosed with cancer last Friday. ****ing Scouse Red as well. Poor bloke. You never know the minute.
do you guys not check the **** out of references? anyway... as I've said to people round me the recruiter does not work for you. the recruiter works for the company and every interaction is part of the interview process. a lot of people don't get that... I had a recruiter recently ring me up for a European wide position for a company and I said I'm working right now and happy where I am please explain the scope for growth in the role you are offering and they never bothered coming back. they failed the first hurdle, just fishing and clearly company wasn't worth working for if they don't ensure recruiter follows up even of contact wasn't 100% positive. I don't need to move in this market place but they contacted me first then don't follow up??
I've never been called when someone listed me as a reference. No one I've ever listed as a reference has ever been called.
