Liverpool stores[edit] History[edit] Liverpool, first called The Cloth Case, was founded in 1847 by Jean Baptiste Ebrard, a Frenchman who first started selling clothes in cases in Mexico City's downtown. In 1872, he started importing merchandise from Europe[citation needed]. Much of the merchandise was shipped via Liverpool, England, prompting Ebrard to adopt the name Liverpool for his store, in 1862 he opened its second store and since then it has continued growing[citation needed]. Liverpool Interlomas Store[edit] Main article: Liverpool Interlomas In 2011, Liverpool opened a high-profile store in the Interlomas neighborhood of Greater Mexico City. The structure was designed by Rojkind Arquitectos. This three-story structure is clad in a double-layered stainless steel surface fabricated by Zahner.[2] The 30,000m2 department store includes a rooftop recreational park where friends, families, and pets are welcome.[3] Several design firms were involved in various aspects of the project. The interiors were done by FRCH, the rooftop garden by Thomas Balsley and the gourmet space by JHP Design. A good frog. I swore out loud when I saw that through the coach window, which was stopped at traffic lights in Salina Cruz Coincidence 2. We were on the beach in Mazunte drinking a beer and smoking a spliff. I youngish Mexican couple (late 20s - early 30s) walked past saying Ola. We replied and they asked where we were from. My daughter said Ingleterre. The next question in these circumstances was usually whereabouts, and I'd had to bollock her twice for saying "Near Manchester". I said Liverpool, and the bloke said "Liverpool! The City that gave us The Beatles and Liverpool FC!". He then showed me the inside of his arm, which had the lyrics to 'I Am the Walrus' tattooed on it.That just happens to be both my daughters favourite Beatles song On a small beach in a village in Mexico. Couldn't ****ing make it up!
no mental scars? no reports of 60mph combine harvesters, rampant snails or dodgy characters milling about?
