I am suspicious of this gentleman, he first came on here a couple of month ago, saying his English wasn't very good, not knowing much about QPR, now his post are well written, better than alot of us, with indepth knowledge of our small club. I think he is a mole for the management, saying the correct things for us proles and plebs. Please do not take this as a dig at the man, I have nothing against him but remain uncertain of his motives.

That's a level of paranoia you should get checked out. I really enjoy the Pirate's posts, and he is far from politically correct on the players.

Are you serious? I learned english watching telly and at age of 15 I spoke the language very well but last 2-3 years in college I didn't have opportunities to use it so it became a little rusty.
"with indepth knowledge of our small club" What indepth knowledge? We live in era of internet you can find it all there.

You sure made me chuckle but rest assured I'm not a mole

Just emphasises how so far ahead the Europeans are in speaking a foreign language. Always amazes me at work when a Spanish/French/Italian tourists start off the conversation by apologising for their poor English then proceed to converse like they have been speaking it from birth.
    We are light years behind.

Doesn't amaze me in the least. We are not behind other Europeans, we're at the forefront because we speak English. And they don't learn it because of little old England, they learn it because it's THE international language, especially in popular music and the film industry. It's also easier for them to learn the one language than it is for us to learn all of theirs.......

The fact that the last two 'great' empires (UK and US) going back 300 - 400 years, have been English speaking might have something to do with it being considered the current universal language. Romans went longer and look how long Latin lasted and how far it went and still goes - and that was with easy travel, mass media and now internet.

Way to turn something sensible completely on its head! Because they can speak 2 or 3 languages fluently and most of us only one, we're way ahead?

You've been working the graveyard shift too long mate.

Two milkshakes, double fries and a chilli dog when you're ready.
