Travelling-wise, it could have been a whole lot worse (not that I'm likely to go on any of the away trips!). I'm quite pleased with that. Does Jol have any links with Twente?
Good draw. Will try and go to as many away as I can. Denmark and Holland definitely... Poland may be.
It could certainly be worse. Look at Stoke's group - trips to Kiev, Besiktas and Tel Aviv. Nightmare.
I'll be going to Holland and possibly Denmark. Poland is a nice place to visit, and Krakow is supposed to be a beautiful city, but Polish football fans are a nightmare.
I think Brum have the most difficult job, myself. Happy with our group, Twente will be a good test, and the other two aren't impossible to pick up points from. COYW
I think Twente will be a good test, as Bidley says, but no more so than anyone from the pot of first seeds. Other than swapping the longish journey to Poland for one to Ireland, Cyprus, etc, I think this is just about as good as we could have hoped for.

It will be good to have the 6th match at home - Last time was the win in Basel to qualify and there were maybe only 1200 of us then. We have almost the best of the draws: Stoke have a particularly tough time, Birmingham no so bad, Spurs have Rubin (Russia) but get the prize of Shamrock Rovers. I might be able to do Twente away, but it seems to be miles from any big airports - just under 2 hours drive from Amsterdam. Let's see what plans can be made.
