    ... contributed to it.

Real all over Barcelona, but you have to take your chances when on top and they (like Reading) paid the price for being wasteful and were 2-0 down at half time.

Second half, and Real got themselves back into it but couldn't find the goal to win the tie. From then on it turned into a scrap and all the limp wristed twats trying to get the opposition sent off. They were all at it.

I was suprised it took Pepe well up to the 88th minutes to get booked. But a round of applause for Ramos on getting sent off, adding to his record in these games. Although Busquets made the most of them jumping together.

    Anybody watch it?

Didn't watch it, these games have moments of brilliance but it's not worth the 80+ minutes of nancying around you have to put up with.

The last two were in the cup, a two legged affair. They've still got play against each other in the league again.

Should really expect more of the same.

don't know what you could do to make pique hugely ashamed as he should be for being a total nancy drama queen. granero's booking was just ridiculous, tackle was nowhere near pique and he minced it up massively.

it's shameful and next time he gets booked for sweet fa i'll be chuckling.

and he cheated on shakira. he's my new least favourite footballer.

no wait. I forgot about craig bellamy.

Cheated on Shakira?!?!?! In that case he's a bigger prick than Ashley Cole! But still slightly less so than John Terry

well that's what makes the 85 minutes of diva strops and diving easier to swallow cause you just know it's gonna throw up something that makes that all worth while.

deano's volley aside, I've never seen a ball struck sweeter!

The play acting spoils what should be one of the best games on the planet, there's no need for players that good to be cheating like that.

Interesting comments, Barca will always have a tarnished reputation as a great team because of the behaviour of some of their players, Busquets in particular is a disgrace the way he goes down at the drop of a hat. I thought Pique was gay anyway so no surprise that he's cheating on Shakira!

At least it means Ramos hasn't got the opportunity to drop the trophy off the top deck of the bus again.

Yes i did straight after the Liverpool v. Man City game ended. Just in time for 2 goal blast just before H.T. from Barcelona. The Danny Alves goal was a corker and maybe Liam Rosenoir can do the same one game this season.

Loved all the pushing and shoving and handbags at dawn. Girls trying to be men. Lol. Great entertainment though.

See a Spanish 3rd Div. team ""Malvinas"" beat Espanyol on tuesday night in the same cup comp. Excellant.

A game I do enjoy watching with relish, except for the very poor acting when someone is fouled, Ronaldo could do with some lessons. But how Puyol doesn't get sent off every match is a cause of wonder. Ramos is usually on a personal mission to disable as many Barcelona players as possible, either that or his tackling is getting clumsier. And Messi must get the player of the year awards for spending most of it on his backside. Still its good old fashioned heated rivalry, and with the rules and regulations these day nothing like the Spartacus like duels we use to have back in the 60's and 70's. Bremner, Cooper, Reaney, Harris, Souness, Smith (Tommy), and their ilk anyone?

Oh yes. The 60's and 70's when football was played by real men. Not the limp wristers of today.

Even Billy Whitehurst would not have been out of place back then. He came along a decade to late. Lol.

I watched it and thought it was good value, much better than the first leg and you come to expect the diving, theatricals and blatant cheating.

Has Ronaldo grown up.? I think he took the punishment meted out to him on occasions well and genuinely tried to keep Real in the game without acting like the old drama queen he used to be.

Fabregas was anonymous for most of the time he was on the park, maybe not the hard man he thought he was in the premiership.!

Barca don't look like the team they were last season and the defending was awful.

Big contrast to the LPL/City game - all round a good evenings entertainment.
