Another out of the blue signing could this be the centre midfielder we all thought we needed, apparently spent 8 years in Dortmunds academy before being nicked by Arsenal. if you go on Twitter Arsenal fans are generally pretty pissed that he has been sold and rate him sounds promising.

    Anyone know much about him???

I think Eisfeld will be competing with Chris David for the attacking midfield slot alongside Parker (or Tunnicliffe when Parker needs a rest). This is a big 'potential' signing - almost impossible to know how this plays out. Exciting though.

Remember him scoring the only goal - a toe poker - when Arsenal U21s beat ours 1-0 at Motspur Park last January. To be honest I don't recall anything about Eisfeld other than that and then only because the result knocked us off the top perch in the League. We never really recovered.

At 21 and on the fringes of the Arsenal squad should be a good prospect. Believe he's more attacking midfield than defensive so likely to be David he's be challenging rather than Parker but I guess we'll have to wait and see what Felix has in mind.

Here's the inevitable video clip -
