Eindhoven 1976 - Pushing the car around Europe. Getting rescued by the Army (Les) who spent two hours the next morning getting the car going again. We were indebted to Les, Marj, Jan and Paul who welcomed five strangers into their home to stay the night. Broke down a few times then finally conked out complete at Eindhoven and had to abandon the car. As it would be Monday before the AA could come out to mend it, Carole, June and I had a rescue package to go home by North sea Ferries put into action through her dad as we had to be back at work on Monday morning.
