Two home matches and today. Enough has been said already about the two home games. Today , their first , a boys team set of errors on our goal line with Charlie Adam finding the net for them. Their second , a very rash challenge , an obvious foul , in just about the most dangerous place outside of the penalty area , by Sidwell. And of course the two open goals that we spurned. Sidwell until his faux pas , had played well I thought. We lose possession too easily and Adam is a culprit of giving the ball away at times when we look as if we are going to be on to something rewarding. I keep reading/hearing about Shawcross and England. I don't think his all round game is good enough. He is good at headed clearances and is quick into making a good tackle , but his distribution is poor even when he is not under pressure. Two more points lost today , that is eight points lost from what should have been a haul of nine from those three games.
From what I saw through 4 pints pf Doom...spot on KKB #%%&** !!? ¥£$$¡¡¡ ®®®»»»«\« Adam And as for relegation fodder Sidwell ?##@%&& Off Oh for the Golden One see Youtube on my Magic post
Moses had to be replaced , but why by Arnie when Assaidi was available ? Arnautovic is just not cutting the mustard these days.
to be fair its drivel like this is why nobody posts here anymore, we are stoke not chelsea, i would have torn your hands off for a draw at the start of the match. We played well....should have won, if we had you would all be celebrating rather than ripping our club to shreads, you all need to step back and give it 12 games then review from there rather than every 90 mins
We do make some really poor errors which is frustrating and we fail to convert well enough in front of goal. Not sure on the team selection and I have said before that Hughes did this last season but it turned out right in the end. In relation to Shawx, the answer is Huth!
We played really well. My only gripe was why Arnie when Assaidi was on the bench? Lots of positives to take from the game. I agree Huth needs to start with Ryan, and both strikers scored. Keep the faith guys, we can and will improve. Some of our football yesterday was fantastic.
'Ripping the club to shreds' Ricc??? Don't think so...genuine constructive criticism certainly. Lighten up mate...not everything in life is 100% red and white striped.
Dear Ricc , I'm hurt. If you re-read my opening post with less emotion , you may revise your view that I am " ripping the club to shreads ". My comments are made , ( not through rose-tinted glasses , so I am well aware that we are not Chelsea - for which I am truly thankful - ) , in reference to in the main the QPR game , with brief reference to the two home games. And I thought were an accurate description of events. I think our squad is good enough , with correct team selection and with our share , no more , of luck and fair treatment from the match officials , to be right now high up in the top half of the table. Must leave it at that for now , I may resume later. Resuming : And if in the future we can replace those weaker positions with players of an ability level on a par with say Begovic or Moses , then I think we could reside comfortably well up in the top half.
