In his column tonight Nathan Blake stated that eight city players on display against Wolves could get you a goal...fair enough, but what about McNaughton?
I'm with Blake, we'll get goals from all over. The CBs look dangerous at set pieces (and from the half way line in Hudson's case) and the front 6 all look as if they've goals in them. I think we should let Kev take the next penalty. With Maynard we could have the 20+ striker discussed in a previous thread but I'm not sure we'll get huge numbers from any one player as the squad size would suggest no-one will play the number of games they did last season (Whitts may be the exception) so Eti, HH, Bellamy, Kimbo, Smith, Noone, Mutch, Gunnar will all get goals but won't get the game time to get huge numbers. If they all chip in that will be better than one player getting the lot. Chops was prolific, but when his goals dried up we struggled.
Must be due one soon, particularly when Smith is playing as he covers back well when Kev surges forward.
