In order to reach a target of 39 points, I earmarked a target of:
  • August = 5 points (we got 4)
  • September = 4 points (we got 5)
  • October = 5 points (0 so far. Newcastle / West Brom / Man City to play).

So we're basically on target so far, provided we can pick up points against Newcastle and West Brom (& Man City!?).
 
I think we have to remember that, other than Sunderland, we have been playing teams either in good form or teams that are well established. Obviously it would have been nice to beat one of Leicester or Palace and we definitely should have gotten a win against Stoke.

I'm a little concerned by our home form but losing to 2 very good counter attacking teams isn't such an issue. Hopefully we'll get tighter and more clinical as the season progress.

Just enjoying every game as it comes along
I'm sure we will be in the mix at the mid to bottom all year and if we stay up it will be a bonus but I intend to just enjoy watching our guys pitch up against some of the best players in the world
