Okay ... we all know Cellino can be very trigger happy when it comes to his coaches, but fcuk me, what is going on at Watford? Garcia resigns due to illness, McKinlay appointed Head Coach and then wins against Brentford and draws against Brighton ... he talks about how grateful he is to finally get his chance after ten years as a coach and BOOM!! Eight days into his new role he is sacked and replaced by Slavisa Jokanovic because Mr Pozzi the Chairman felt it was in the long term interests of the club ... I wonder if Pozzi looked over at Leeds and saw a manager with a "winning" pedigree being appointed, had a think and then decided a former coach who never managed before was probably a mistake ... hmmm

But really, eight days? That is simply ridiculous, because McKinlay was actually APPOINTED as the new Head Coach, so what changed? Can we expect this level of lunacy from Cellino going forward? Is it that these Italian owners just don't get English football? Well, this must be a record or close to a record low in terms of days in the job ... I'm sure our stattos will sniff out some info

EDIT: just saw the list on Breakfast Debate ... ten minutes at Torquay for Leroy Rosenior? Really?

McKinlay even left his post as assistant manager of Northern Ireland so he could concentrate fully on managing Watford <doh>

Should've made it clear to him the position was only temporary and made him caretaker manager
